Philanthropy

Philanthropy is one of the biggest aspects of life as a Sig Delt! Sigma Delta Tau hosts philanthropy events and projects to support our National Philanthropies. Members also support many other Greek and non-greek philanthropies throughout the year. Additionally, we have many sig delts involved with the Indiana University Dance Marathon, which supports Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis.

Prevent Child Abuse America

The Upsilon Chapter is proud to support Sigma Delta Tau's National Philanthropy, Prevent Child Abuse America. PCAA is an organization dedicated to building awareness, providing education, and inspiring hope to everyone involved in the effort to prevent the abuse and neglect of our nation’s children.

Each year the Upsilon chapter devotes itself to raising money for this extraordinary organization. This fall we hosted "Can You Take The HEAT?!" This $7 all you can eat buffet included food donated from various Bloomington restaurants and a wing eating contest! This event was a very successful fundraiser for the Upsilon chapter raising a total of $6,000 for PCAA!
